Awwww. She looks a lot like her big brother, doesn't she? :)

In that picture she definitely does, but in real life there's very little resemblance. Evie looks JUST like Kyla's baby pictures at that age, and is soo much chubbier than Benjamin, who has a fair bit of his dad in him, ever was. She's also really super tan with reddish hair compared to Benjamin's extreme paleness and very blond hair. The expressions definitely coincide when they're being natural though.

I wish I could get her somewhere with good light to take pictures. Their house is horrible for that and now Kyla and Doug ONLY take pictures with their phones. They're really going to regret only have these fuzzy, poorly lighted snapshots of this period (and it's annoying since they went on and on about how much they needed this expensive HD video recorder, which also takes still photos, and which they NEVER use).

She is so adorable!!!! Such a happy baby. I hope my niece, once she's born, is half as happy as yours. So cute!!!

Ha, I hope so too! Will your niece be a first child?

Evie is a second baby, and I think, in general, they tend to be more effusive and outgoing (probably because it's harder for them to get their parents' attention!). Evie is SO sweet and happy and adorable that I'm pretty sure we should rent her out as a therapy baby.

LOL! I don't know why, but renting out your niece as a therapy baby makes me smile so much. Probably because she would be perfect for it. :)

She's so adorable! I love that age, too. They're exhausting, but so much fun.

Ha, yes. I think kids are pretty fun in general up to age 12 or so, It will be especially nice when both she and my nephew are old enough to just want to listen to chapter books being read! Benjamin is close to that at least.
