It may seem silly/vain/narcissistic, but you know what makes me happy? Looking at photos of me as a child. I was pretty awesome, for one thing, and generally super adorable except for some unfortunate haircuts in 2nd and 3rd grade.
This is me, aged 8 and 1/2.

I've never been much fond of dogs, except for Biscuit. Almost everyone I knew had dogs that were very jumpy and excitable or yapped all the time, and I hated that as a child (and can't physically deal with it now). A nice calm dog I'm happy to be around, but it seems like they are few and far between.

Hope that you get to feeling better, soon; I'm under the weather, myself, and know how awful it is not to be able to sleep. :(

Thanks! I'm at the awful can't-breathe-at-all-through-the-nose, feel-like-you're-choking-every-other minute stage. But I'm back on the nasal spray, so hopefully it will go away soon.

I think if I did another 100 posts project it was just be "100 adorable/hilarious childhood photos of me." Though, generally, I try to keep a tighter lid on my narcissism. :)

I certainly wore a lot of neon as a child. I have no real regrets about the matter, but jeez some of the pictures are a little embarrassing.
Also do not mind me, sort of catching up with el jay :o

The clothing is a worry. This is one of the few pictures of me at that age that isn't so bad, I think, which was probably accidental. I had more concern with clothing in kindergarten (probably because I hadn't been allowed to pick out my own for long) and first grade, but then it fell by the wayside unless it seemed even vaguely Shirley Templeish.
I like when people are catching up with entries, since it's like having a longer conversation with them.
