In the words of the intarnetts, YUOO CAN DOO EEET

Also, what's a neoliberal? I'm going to present my opinion here (and I am oh so tired), but those kinds of prefixes are not very useful. "Vital Center" liberal means one specific thing that deals with a theme and a motivation, but for the life of me I've never heard of a neoliberal. What does a neoliberal stand for? Neovalues? Neopolitics? It's really such a vague term, and I think that the world would be better served by making political arguments more elegantly simple than ambiguously complicated.

it's only obfuscating and vague bc you don't know what it means... it makes the argument much more elegantly simple, actually! signo and significado. it's just a signo.
okay this response sure is flippant but i'm not going to take the time right now to clarify, perhaps sometime this summer we can do a roundtable discussion (perhaps we will hang out AHAHHAHAHAHA YEAH RIGHT) just kidding. just, you know. our previous track record for hanging out and all.

I was very tired (like I said), and also somewhat drunk, so I was feeling aggressive and not very scholarly

*always check wikipedia first*

wikipedia is not always the authoritative source on everything, but it seems like 'neoliberalism' is a very broad and comprehensive concept, and like you said a useful signo for a general description of your research. but I have no doubt that you know more specifically what manifestations or aspects of neoliberalism you're interested in (which I'd like to hear more about)

hey now, I'm an optimist! I'm one-for-one on visiting Urbana!

I totally know what I feel. Monografia due friday, and although I have a good chunk of it done, I really have no pride in my work and now realize that I could have should have done so much more. I have the pijal poops, brought the fleas with me to Quito, and feel a little hopeless. We just need to be fighters and get through it. Did you also check with your professor about the possibility of getting an incomplete and explain that you misunderstood?

Hmmm?
