yesterday, i tried uploading pictures of the lamp i rewired and also pictures of the fabric i am using to build a lampshade for it (may i say an intriguing paisley with red?). a hanger! and fabric! and misc. tools! truly, i felt pretty mcgyverish even though it does not take much skill at all ( Read more... )

you can borrow my externally modded playstation since i got a new computer that can emulate Cd-R PS games (yours might be fast enough too? Chrono Trigger for Super NES can be played on computers real smoothly, but without the new CG movies)
The PSX has a Pro-Action (like a gameshark/genie) Replay thingy that attaches to the back of (this) older model. A disc swap, and a spring or a folded piece of paper kept in place to trick the PSX into thinking the lid never opened for disc swap after turning it on lets you play it. Also, i have some RPGs you can borrow.

hey, i wonder if your game shark is like my game shark! mine used a spring. hehehe. unfortunately, the discs weren't burned perfectly and caused the game to freeze at a certain point. this is how i clocked in 22 hrs in chrono trigger previously yet never finished. anyway, i need this modulator to hook up my playstation to an old television (it lacks the proper inputs for video game goodness).

i have a mac . :/ so i don't know if the same emulator would work. but i'm sure there would be one out there for mac.

uhh ::blinks, shakes googliness out of eyes:: thanks!
i would LOVE to borrow some games. what do you have?

love,
ros

cool, so the modulator you're referring to is actually an antenna RF modulator; i actually have one here but it doesn't work too well (its cable is a bit loose, but is usually fine if it doesn't move much and it's out of the way of excited gamers who jump all over the place, disrupting its smooth connection); another alternative is, if you have a VCR, you can plug in the AV inputs ( i have some) to it and run it from channel 3 and the vcr's line-in (usually before channel 1 ( ... )

cool, if the file is in .iso format you can use Nero.exe or other programs to burn it onto a cd for ros since hers is skippy/freezy.
