so, the weekend was indeed crazy. i hung out at jon's with his roommates until michele, roberto, alessia, pasquale, and gennaro arrived... then we took the redline over to downtown where we waited for a couple ? of hours for luigi. except that it was supposed to be one of those any-minute-now kinda things...haha oh yes. waiting

It sounds like you had an awesome time last night, but I think I would have been rather intimidated, as the only time I have ever gone to a dance club was at this place called John Barlycorn's or something, and I felt like a sniping vulture male (along with all the others) waiting to prey on a gaggle of scantily clad females dancing in three-Madonna-esque circles. I went with a female friend who decided to sit at a bar the entire time and get hit on by much older men. The whole thing was her idea. HAWT, no? Next time I should go with a real date.

oh, i guess it was also a good deal bc i only bought one drink. i didn't have enough money to buy shots for everyone (we were 7), which is what i should have done since 3 rounds were bought by other people... wait, now that i'm thinking about it, i was a tool! bc the same person bought me a shot and a seperate drink... i am terrible. the end. uhhh

Ah well, people like feeling the power of patronage, especially when they have money/are good people. That reminds me of this place (wow the anecdotes are really overflowing) called Russian Samovar that had carafes of vodka. It was an awesome deal! Plus carafes!

Next time bring your bike to Chicago. It was really fun riding around downtown and along the lake shore. ;D Lemme know if you want to do some riding around there or even here :) What kinda bike do you have?
