Political Timeline (Last updated June 19th)
A note on this timeline: Time between ‘humanside’ and Tir na n’Og does not line up precisely. Auberon’s death will mark year zero. Anything before it will be negatives...when I eventually get around to it. Rp time is accurate according to my memory, if you catch anything that looks overly wonky, heads up are good thigns.
Year -100
-Mab and Auberon conceive their first and only child.
-Mab is poisoned by one of Auberon’s mistresses while pregnant and miscarries
-The two become estranged after she recovers from the poisoning
Year 0
-Auberon is killed by a Seelie Lord who takes over the throne.
Year 1
-Mab marries Bobby after becoming pregnant.
-Bobby dies, sealing the legitimacy of the offspring.
Year 2
-First of the year: three halfling offspring of Mab are born, in order: Donovan, Moira, and Isolde.
-Fall: A Seelie Duchess challenges the new King’s control of the Seelie.
-Winter: Full scale civil war in the Seelie nation.
Year 3
-Winter after the first of the year: An iron-based pipebomb is used in a Seelie Market. The Unseelie Court helps clean the mess.
-Winter after the first of the year: Mab closes the gates between the Unseelie Nation and Humanside for what will seem like days. Years will pass in Tir na n’Og.
-Spring: The first refugees from the Seelie nation are accepted into the Unseelie Court.
Year 4
-The two sides of the civil war splinter into multiple warring city states.
-Refugees continue to flee to the Unseelie Court.
-Food shortages hit both nations, less severe in the Unseelie nation due to careful rationing.
Year 5
-Spring: The leaders of the city states meet and discuss a resolution.
-Summer: A loose alliance of states is formed with an agreement of an election for a president in the fall. Only aristocrats of sufficient rank are allowed to vote and a 25 year term is agreed upon.
-Fall: Crevan is elected as the first president of the United Seelie States
-Winter: Mab meets and acknowledges the new president and nation.
Year 6
-The Seelie Nation slowly stabilizes and a large portion of the refugees return.
-Food production returns to nearly normal.
Year 7
-Winter after the first of the year: The gates to Humanside are reopened.
-Mab’s convoluted relationship with her human husband is ended.
-Relations with the Seelie Nation continue to build.
Year 8
-The Unseelie help clear LA of the vampire invasion.
-Mab establishes a colony of Unseelie and Seelie in Los Angeles.
-All quiet on the Seelie front.
