That's funny! I collect swords and knives as well....my athame is a knife that was hand made by a friend of my father's for him before he died that I inherited then. When the time came to pick an athame, there was no more appropriate knife than that....you couldn't ask for a more personal connection there...lol...the funny thing is I have three others that I'd have a hard time choosing between otherwise...two egyptian style, one a medium/small kris bladed daggar with an egyptian style hilt, scrab beetle on the guard with wings coming out from there and heiroglyphs all down the sheath; the second a large-ish off white sculpture with pyramids on the base, heiroglyphs coming up the stand and four serpents facing the four directions on the top, and coming out of the top is an Egyptian figure with a crystal ball on the top of his head. When you pull out the figure, it turns out to be the handle of a daggar, and the rest of the sculpture is it's sheath. (as you can see, I have a thing for ancient Egyptian design...lol) But third, and
