A few years ago, Yahoo IM had a function called Yahoo IM Conversations. Basicly, you would enter the conversations area, choose a category, and be able to post what amounted to an advertisement for a chat. You could only post a couple of lines, so you had to be pretty creative

Yahoo has completely gone down hill the past couple years :( Now its basically your chat rooms sorted by topic...most rooms are filled with 80% or more of just bots alone. You're lucky to find a human thats actually chatting.
