Yeah, right.  Well, at least the fridge purge is done.  I'm really pleased, actually.  We're being more aware of what we have, eating leftovers, using the pantry, and throwing out WAY less

My husband and I used to do the LEAST romantic thing we could think of on Valentine Day. KFC, Golden Corral, Skippers. Places you don't expect to see romance taking place.

Now it is just a card and we go out to eat on another day, sparing restaurant workers everywhere bc we all know Vday and Mother's Day are horror shows for all restaurant people.

We used to go to Trolley Stop for chili dogs, a shared basket of fries (see....that's romance!) and a couple of beers. Unfortunately, the business has changed hands and the kind of suck now. :( My suggestion this year is staying home, making food, and cards. Since we both have to work, that makes the most sense.
