MY *YAY ME* MAC STORY:
So last weekend when I went to pick up my Heatherette stuff, one of the MA's was like, "Come back next [this] weekend and let us do your makeup for free!" So of course I couldn't pass it up.
So I went last night (I live in Canada and have a counter in The Bay) and it was open till 9:00pm, but the rest of the mall was closed. So I go there at 7:00 and there is NO customers there! What made it even better was that my favourite MA was gonna be doing my make-up. Her and I have gotten to know each other just by me going there all the time and talking with her. She's amazing!
So we sit down and she does this killer green smokey look on me, while I had the whole counter to myself! Just me and her, it was awesome. I told her how I would love to work at MAC and she goes "Are you serious? Ohmygosh! You would be incredible! Next time you come I'll show you some pamphlets and the application and help you out. I'll show you how to do facecharts too. You totally have the personality for it!" Then she walked me through a typical interview and what they would expect, etc.
AND THEN!... I was blabbering on how I love purples and was so sad that Royal Hue shadestick was being discontinued, so I told her I need to buy one before I missed it... So she goes to look for one, and UH OH! They have none left. I was sad! Then she was like "Ok, don't tell anybody I'm doing this!..." She takes the one off of the sampler stand, sanitizes it, and gives it to me! There's like atleast 90% left! She was like "We're just gonna recycle it anyways and the product will get thrown out."
I LOVE HER! =) So you girls gotta keep quiet about this! Hehe
So basically, she is amazing and is gonna try and help me get a job there! She gave me a great big hug, and big samples of various products. I was in heaven having the whole counter to myself, hehe.
She also said that Naughty Nauticals is supposed to launch on April 27th! =)
Anyways, that was super long! Exciting!
Oooh, and one more thing!
My counter was sold out of all of the Heatherette lip stuff, and I wanted Style Minx, and a back-up of Melrose Mood. Can someone get those for me? That'd be awesome!
