Dang, I hadn't heard Studio 60 was in danger. I love it, because it reminds me so much of West Wing's style. You'd probably really like West Wing!

Also, I sure would like to sleep in til 7! LOL

Yeah - rumor has it they've ordered 3 more episodes, but that could be a contractual thing and not an indication they still want it around. Friday Night Lights was on in its place last night...not good!

Well, I only wish it were sleeping in until 7. I have daily calls at 7 am MN time. When I'm working from home I do roll out of bed to get on the phone, but it still comes early...too early for me to be coherent and talking about work, that's for sure!

that's the exact same TV I just bought! If you have Comcast, the HD cable box does come with a DVR. It's not nearly as user-friendly and fun as the TiVo, but it works. My brother showed me how to hook the TiVo up to the box to make it work, but it's a complicated hookup and it takes a few seconds for the TiVo to send the signal to the box and change the channel, and occasionally it won't work properly and will record the wrong channel. So, best to go with the DVR the cable company provides.

I heart me some HD.

No way! Really?!?! Don't you love it? I must say it's really, really pretty and I'm completely in love. It's only the 2nd day!

We just switched from TimeWarner to Comcast, so I'll give them a ring to get the new HD box with DVR. I have a DVR now (don't have a phone line, so couldn't take full advantage of TiVo) so as long as I maintain the ability to record, I'll be good.

I'll have to report back once I've really been able to use the TV for its true HD purposes. :)

Oooo, I covet your TV. That is really pretty.

As for Lost, I also hope it picks up soon. The last episode or two were pretty good, but in general it doesn't have the pep I've come to expect from them. Also, I hear the schedule is going to be 6 new ones, then a big long hiatus for another show to air, then the remainder of the season in one chunk. So be prepared for it to leave in a couple of weeks.

Thanks, Julie. I'd been using a small 19" TV I got when I was still in college and was long overdue for an upgrade. I'm liking it muchly and apparently will love it even more when I can watch things in HD. Woo!

You're right about Lost not having its usual pep. Thanks for the reminder about the hiatus - I'd read about it but didn't know it was coming up so soon! Will be interesting to see where they leave things, no?

Indeed. I would assume they'll take the opportunity to leave us with a cliffhanger. I've lost count, but I think they only have 2 more eps to bring us in enough to care. I've got my fingers crossed for something good.

I thought you'd fallen off the face of the earth!

Cannot WAIT for the Justin show.

Also, did you know that Mayer Continuum tour stops here February 13th? ;-)

Hello! *waves* :)

Seriously - I am so excited!!! Since it's on a Saturday night, we should think about finding somewhere fun to have dinner beforehand like we did last time.

I didn't know the Mayer tour was coming. Are you planning to go???
