What an amazing story. I am glad you are all ok after the accident. How scary to go through something like that especially in a foreign country. I would love to see more of your pictures.

Thanks, Erinn! It feels good to be OK and after looking at the pictures, it's really miraculous something more didn't happen to those of us riding in the back 2 rows. I will be sure to post a link to the full album of pictures once I get off my lazy butt and get them uploaded. :)

What an amazing trip, in both good and bad ways. My lord. I'm so glad you're okay, and that you managed to enjoy it despite the accident!

Thanks, E. You're right on in that the trip was amazing, for both good and bad reasons. The good really did outweigh the bad, overall!

(Happy very belated birthday!!!)

Hi Michelle! It was so nice to get home and also good to put a little bit of time and space between the events of the trip and me posting about it. Gives things a bit of perspective!

It *is* like the Amazing Race! Believe me, I felt like I'd been on that show given the adventures of flight delays, lost baggage, and showering in the airport. :)
