I believe you mean echidnas.

Echidnas are also monotremes, which makes them correspondingly hilarious.

The things look so harmless, I would never have known they are venomous.

This seems to lead to one of those "You know you're a redneck if..." type jokes. "You know you're unemployed, when you start posting memes about what kind of venomous egg-laying mammal you are."

Wow, this is hilarious. The first two comments on the quiz totally made my day. Of course every outcome is platypus, they are the only egg-laying, poisonous mammals.
