I am insanely restless. I can't get farther than 20 pages into a book, 30 minutes into a videogame, a page into writing a story, or a few scenes into a movie without getting bored and pacing madly, trying to think of something I want to do. About the only thing I can do is re-watch the first episode of Buffy. I want to read or write or watch sexy ( Read more... )

Yea, that's pretty much the same symptoms I am getting, except with the X-Files. I even dream in X-Files, I think. I tried writing HP fanfic to lessen it somewhat. It didn't really work. I am such a big help. :(

Yeah, I've been feeling disconnected from the Potterverse for a while, so I've been trying to write original stuff, which is even harder, because it's... original. It's like running headfirst into a wall. I can't count the amount I've written and sweepingly deleted.

ERGH, I do that all the time! It is beginning to drive me crazy, because it gives light to the very possible possibility that I may, in fact, possess no writing talent whatsoever. Woe.

I know, exact same feeling. On the plus side, there are rasping, poetic songs about male strippers as anthromopomorphic personifications of the American spirit. For some reason, music is the one thing that soothes the savage beast restlessness.

PS I just beat Spider Solitaire on 'hard' mode. I've been trying to do that for a year. I wish I had some champagne.

*just started season six*

Omfg, it's an addiction. I don't know what I'll do when I'm done.

Oh, wait, yes I do. Finish Firefly. Watch Angel. And then Serenity!

I hate you and your ownage of stuff. I haven't seen any season beyond 4 in Buffy, 3 in Angel, or Firefly at all here. I will have to buy legitamate copies of them in the US! Horrors.

I've only seen like one episode of Angel, if it makes you feel any better.

Well, it's one more than I. Next Bangkok-trip, I'm running away with as many seasons of Whedonverse as I can find.

I saw James from a distance today. *shamelessly smug*

Also, I totally get you. Buffy eats your brain and soul. Even if you escape the fandom alive, you'll still occasionally have overwhelming urges to collect all the action figures and place them lovingly in sexually compromising poses.

You so did not. Did you really?

I want a retractable stake. And a tall blonde man with a leather coat fetish. And action figures.

I have a Spike action figure.

You've really got to work to inspire the kind of jealousy you do.

wow, was I your only suggestions? I wasn't serious abot sex... at least not if it involves other people... And chainmail doesn't 'burn' money so much as 'earn' money.
I know that addiction feeling. i've had far too many video games in my time park themselves in a dream-corner and fuck up a perfectly good year's sleep.

Yeah, everybody else was just sympathetic and stuff. And I've only ever had one video game invade my subconscious.

In fact, I'd like to replay it again. For the (quite literally) ninth time.

Graaaaaaaaaaaaaandia Twoooooooooooooooooooooo.

*offers body*

Bake something? Chocolate strawberries? Hijack a helicopter and land on my roof?

I have a shitload of Spike icons I made for brem_nakada. You'd have to ask her permission if you wanted to use them, but you can see them if you'd like.

*accepts most enthusiastically*

No oven. No chocolate. Haven't seen any helicopters, not even for traffic. Le sigh.

I don't usually use actor-icons, but thanks anyway!

And how can you say Buffy isn't a good show! It's Buffy! I haven't seen QAF but it doesn't really sound like my thingish. They have a whole bunch of seasons here, though, and if I were staying longer I'd probably end up buying some.

They have QAF there??? How much? How many seasons?

It's about $15 per season. I know they have 1 and 2 for sure, I think maybe 3 as well. I'm not sure whether it's British or American. They have most of the major shows. I love pirates, even the technological ones!
