JUST SAW OOTP JUST SAW OOTP JUST SAW OOTP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it was good. GREAT, really. Had its flaws, of course, but for the most part...amazing.

I have to be at work in, oh, 5 hours, so I'm getting my ass to bed, but top three things to know (not really spoilery unless you're way paranoid):

Yeah, seeing Cedric's dad's reaction...gah,it was amazing. And I wasn't exactly expecting to cry right when Sirius died, but either when Harry ran after Bellatrix or talked with Dumbledore. That's when I cried in the book. So yeah, way too abrupt of an ending.

And about H/G...I realize I'm a bit of a grass-is-greener type (if there's build-up I get annoyed, but if there isn't I fault the filmmakers for just springing it on us) but I can't help but think the fault lies with the author (I still love you, JK). I have to admit though, some of the R/Hr scenes in the movie were cute.

It seems that quite a few people didn't like it. And I'm not all that surprised. I just approach these movies like I'm going to see a movie based on a book. And based on = can change things to better suit a film. I don't know, despite its obvious flaws I enjoyed myself.
