So, wrath comes out on Thursday, system requirements include windows service pack 3. Now, I haven't had a "legal" copy of windows... ever. Not once, and its always been fine. So I couldn't just upgrade or anything, I needed to go hunting ( Read more... )

you might want to see if you can find some drivers for your d drive online... though they should be included in windows so I don't know whats going on with that. There's no reason that I know of for it to want you to reformat your hd to make it work.

D drive is gone, I give up. I will miss many of thethings that were on it, but I don't expect to ever get it back.

Got wow finally installed again with all the updates. Good day to do it since it was down allllllll day long apparently.

Now to figure out this dvd drive thing...

Was running a file recovery all last night, it takes a long time and is only a little under halfway done after 6 hours of running.

I got this drive from an old brasher's computer. So far I've recovered some old brasher's files, but none of my own.

Funny, I have tons of crappy pictures of cars and some employment history stuff. Great if I wanted to steal someone's identity... and have a bunch of pictures of crappy cars?
