I'm pretty sure I had one too many White Russians last night. By the time the night was almost over, I was showing a complete stranger a trick with cigarette ash.. that's all I really remember. He thought it was cool though, so maybe he was a little hammered as well

Sure. But will a sober person find it amusing.. that is the question.. assuming you'll be sober, maybe you won't be though, in that case you'll definitely find it thrilling.
