I wish we could go back next year, but next year is worldcon! after that I expect we'll be getting lifetime memberships. I'm glad I didn't assume ComiCon-SD as was good as it got, because I left there a little disappointed. I was expecting Dragoncon and what I got was Norwescon plus a bunch of Hollywood marketing.

Yeah, I hard heard there's a huge difference between fan run and corporate cons. Now I know.

Those pictures are full of AWESOME! I had to make myself stop looking at them and pay attention to my work. :)

I'm wondering how folks decide what/who to dress up as. I can't think of how *I* would dress up for a convention. . . . I'll have to come up with something for next year though.

:) Thanks for sharing!

These are simply amazing pictures! Each time I thought I had a fave I was proven wrong the next page... I asked CG how she thinks Dragoncon stacks up to ComiCon so I'll ask your opinion too! Seing as how we have been to neither--but really really want to--it would be good to get an expert's viewpoint.

Great breakdown--Thanks Mac!! I think for what we want and like DC is the way to go. I can put up with a little less organization for a lot more fun!
