Really? I got into it from watching Dr. Who (specifically, the end of the third season, with the Master and all that).

I caught a couple episodes of Torchwood and, wow, it's so good, and so dark. It does remind me a bit of X-Files (loved that show back in its prime too).

I want to buy all the modern Dr. Who and Torchwood series on DVD now...
