Every now and then someone will delete their journal and then reconsider and undelete it later. Is that what's going on with violetdaisies? Anybody know what happened? I sure hope she comes back. :-(

No reason that I know of. She occasionally muses about various things, but she regularly writes about how she likes journaling and how it helps her - as an outlet and as a source of memories. It's a bummer - I'm really hoping she comes back soon.
HEY! Thank God, you're back. And you're posting pictures! I never gave up hope. :-) Guess I'd better get back to updating my journal, too. P.S. violetdaisies came back.

i have been so out of touch with livejournal lately, though, that i didn't even know this had happened, the deleting and undeleting of the journal and such, until I decided to go back in time and read friends entries while I am at work on the dreaded Sunday all-day shift. UGH.
My husband ordered me a refurbished 12" iBook G4 and it should arrive tomorrow. I'm really very excited - HOWEVER - in a perfect world I'd find a way to resurrect my old Lombard G3 Powerbook - for which I am still not through mourning. Oh, how I love that machine. I want it back - do you have any ideas? I need a Guru! Be my guru, macbrain!! Please!!

Hi! You picked a fine time to be out of LJ-touch, but all's well because Monica came back. ;-)
Congrats on your refurbed iBook G4. I wish I could be your Mac guru, but I'll have to constrain my services to occasional tips on current Macs. :-) I can't resurrect your beloved Lombard. Once upon a time, I had a PowerBook 5300cs, running OS 8, and I really loved it. But I had to let it go when I got my first Titanium.

You might also be glad to know that I joined the Mac community. I bought a Powerbook a few weeks ago, and I'm loving it. :)
