I have an insane amount of love for this little line Remembers how he could so easily become rendered stupid with pride as the audience called out his name, as pretty girls walked up to him after a show and asked, Are you Ringo? Remembers when Ritchie faded away and he became solidly Ringo. Ringo Starr.- Ahh...*satisfied hum*- I can't explain why (it'd be a three page tangent) but I just love that line because that's such a profound statement. Fairly simple but very profound.
Love the whole scene where he's drunk - so vivid in my mind, especially the bit about the circus in Spain. And the kiss- well, hot isn't strong enough a word. Smoldering and I-need-a-cold-shower-and-NOW kind of hot. Something along those lines.
And absolutely adored the end- again, very vivid. I love how John apologizes without actually apologizing. I can see the whole scene going down in my head ( ... )

Oh, John and his mind-games, getting Ritchie's hopes up like that, then deflating them. When all along he probably knew he was having him soon into the band anyhow. I liked how you portrayed John and Paul coming to Butlin's to talk to Ringo.
