The other night I was watching a science show about the brain and neuroscience and different experiments about optical illusions and sound and perception (I know how to spend my Wednesday nights, ohhh yeahh) and I kept pointing out all the flaws with the experiments. Like variables they did not control. Terms they did not define. Problems they did not address. Lol. Apparantly university has taught me to be anal about experiements. Lol.
I do that with Mythbusters lol, it's like "they only tested that once, or twice - they need to duplicate that study using different people, or a larger sample size, or a better representation of the population" and then its like awwww ruining my own fun!
I know! I was all "AHA I KNOW THAT NAME" aaaaand I've been pronouncing it wrong for months. lol
If only science books all came in online form...like that pre-calc book we had to drag around first year *shudder*
I wish all profs were interesting. Or knew how to make class interesting. Sometimes it's the information that's boring, and then it's like well damn you're doomed from the start, but a lot of stuff could be really really fascinating if they only knew how to present it better
