I'd like to say that you shouldn't put your life on hold, but this most recent example kinda says how difficult it is to find someone to trust. Not just with you, but with your son.

You will find your happiness, because you deserve it more than most others. I have faith that you will find someone to give you the stability, unconditional love, and caring that you and DC need ... you've taken care of yourself and DC for so long, maybe it's time to slowly start opening up and let someone else take care of you for a change.
