We didn't have reliable internet access on the ship as we floated up and down the Nile to Aswan and Luxor and points in between. I'll post some journal entries when I get back telling more of our adventures. Origins - Chapter 12
I tried to post Chapter 12 here using a cut tag, but evidently it has been so long since I've done that, they've changed things and I can't figure out how to do it. I use 'rich text' and click on the cut tag icon, but get no box in which to put the text. When I post, all the text gets posted w/o a cut tag. (sigh)

Haven't entered here in awhile. Working more than I want to, not really doing much performance except at my church job, which makes me sad, but life is like that sometimes. I just don't have the energy I used to when I had a little more 'down' time. I also suspect that age is fast creeping up on me and such opportunities will not come again ( Read more... ) -
Snow!
Got a beautiful snowflake from olympia_m (hugs and smooches!), and then it ... snowed. Our first snowfall of the season. Huge, wet flakes that, surprisingly, stuck around for another day. Nice on a Saturday and Sunday ( Read more... ) -
Good news/bad news
Well, the good news is that I have a new grandchild! The bad news is that said child is being cared for by someone who is seriously mentally disturbed, namely my daughter-in-law, who disdains to clean, cook, shop, work, drive, or anything else that might be called adult activity, leaving all such tedious tasks to my disabled son. The oar I have to put in these roiling waters is that, IMO, the problem with the dialogue is that it is a Debate, not a discussion.
