I got rather far in Tae Kwon Do but haven't practiced it at all for many years and my body isn't in the great flexibility or fitness it used to be. However as you are someone who knows it much more, I would be interested in a sparring thing to refresh my body and mind and get some much needed exercise. Although I can understand if I'm not well enough suited for this against someone of your skill level.

Artist collective?

That's not a totally out of the blue thing, it's where I get my own play time. A bunch of my buddies banded together and started practicing all our arts together. It's a total informal thing, but we play at boxing, spinning, grappling, etc.

Our mat is my back deck, or my livingroom if the weather is crappy. :P Our gear is a little better, at least for boxing. The boxing enthusiast among us has padded headgear and big pillowy gloves.

I guess what I'm getting at is: if you get the group together, the technical logistics work out. And if you're all friends with each other, that mitigates legal risk. Admittedly, we have yet to have any incidents that have made legal risk be an issue, but being we're good friends I'm risking it.
