The winter wonderland that surrounded their cabin was beginning to look quite frightful, Jim noted. Oh I enjoyed the fic. I really, really did. I had to re-read it once or twice to fully make sure I got the implications. At first I thought Bones had Alzheimer's and he was remembering something else. Once I was sure I had it I can now say that it actually didn't make me that woobie. Just Bones chuckling and telling Jim that he's impatient says so much to me about their relationship and how happy they were and how happy Bones still is even without Jim's physical presence. Which is as warming to me as anything fluffy in schmoopy love stories, more so really because it's the future and it has lasted and that is gold. Eep! Long comment.

Also I have been listening to Dust in the Wind myself.

Long comment is both long and appreciated. I'm almost a little sorry to say that I can't make as long of a reply back other than I'm happy that you liked it so much.

This is lovely. Makes me think of Robert Browning. "Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be." Because they did. And it was.

Now I have Dust in the Wind drifting through my mind. Which is not a bad thing.

Many thanks dear. I often have a song in mind (or at least playing in my thoughts) when writing.
