[Zell has taken a pair of sai out of a carefully-packed box and is sitting on his bed, looking at them thoughtfully. He looks a little sad, but mostly he seems to be thinking. Aren't they? They were a gift. All these weapons were, actually. [Gestures around the room.] Selphie gave me the nunchuku, the Lady before me gave me the tonfa, and Sam gave me the bo---made it himself, actually, which is pretty sweet. They're hard to get even.

You use sai at all?

[Zell grins back at her] I'm learning the appeal of really big guns myself. I think I might be having a bit too much fun with 'em. You'll have to show me what Kalina Ann can do sometime.

Sai are awesome, though, for looking cool if nothing else. I'll show you how to use them sometime if you want. You could incorporate them into your fighting, I'm sure! For example, you could pin a demon's foot with one and then shoot it in the face. I'm sure I could get Sam to bless a pair with holy magic. [Looks happier and happier as he goes on.]
