Thirty-six: Summer scrapes

[Zell is sitting calmly on a park bench, his knees scabbed over, and scrapes on his forearms and particularly one on his cheek catching the eye. Right now, he's engaged in wrapping his wrist in a bright blue ace bandage.]

Figures that I can go off jumps and most things at the skate park, then I bang myself up tripping over a crack on the sidewalk. [

Don't worry! I wear a helmet, but it's way too damn hot to wear my other protective gear. Anyway, a few scrapes and a jammed wrist is nothing serious.

[Makes a tight turn and starts going forwards, just for a change of pace]

Do you know how to skate? You should come with me!

I...never learned. I don't think I could find skates that'd fit me, anyways---trying to find shoes is hard enough.
