Eleven: Wherever you go, there's always rules...

Mar 29, 2008 22:02

[Have a wet-haired Zell taping a fairly neatly printed list in a place that will not be easily missed]

House (or rather apartment) Rules, in no particular order:

1. Wash your own dishes. If somebody makes dinner for everybody, then the dishes will not be their responsibility.

2. No armed sparring or fighting in the apartment.

3. If it's past 9:00 PM, ( Read more... )

housemates, rules

Look, at least the "no bullying" and my occasional sleepwalking are important.

Yeah, yeah, I hear ya. I won't let you walk off a balcony or anything like that. I know not everyone can weather that so well.

I've gone crunch from some pretty high places before, but yeah. Walking unjunctioned off a high balcony would probably not end so well for me.

3. If it's past 9:00 PM, use headphones if you're going to listen to music.

Thank you. I do appreciate it. A lot.

[grimly] Believe me, this one will be enforced. By force, if necessary, which sounds really redundant.

Where do you find these people, Zell? Seriously.

I don't! They just kind of come!

Well, okay, so technically I invited Haku and gave Dante the okay to stay here. But he didn't have another place, I mean, um... it's just that having no place to stay, no home, it really gets to me. I haven't told you, but I was an war orphan.

Guess I got lucky with Nero and Kyrie. They know how to behave.

. . . Though, I guess I could do with adding that sneaking into eachothers rooms at night is a big "no." Because, really, who wants to listen to that.

Oh, it's usually not a big problem. But since I take people in on a fairly regular basis, I thought maybe house rules would be a good idea, so I don't have to explain over and over.

...I'm pretty sure I don't have to worry about anybody sneaking another room right now. [laughs] But, uh, yeah, I can see the problem there. Have you tried banging on the wall? That's what we used to do in the dorms. It worked surprisingly well.

Just how many people are staying with you, now?

I'm just teasing, as far as I know, that's not a problem with the two of them. Kyrie being just short of sainthood helps, I guess.

Only Haku and Dante. Although I gave Dante my couch to crash on for a couple night, and he's showing no inclination to leave... getting kind of crowded in here.

I haven't met Kyrie, although she sounds very nice.

True story: My neighbor Sam banged on the wall when Dante had his music too loud far too late. I happened to be in the vicinity, and nearly died laughing. I know it's not what Sam meant, but still.

I should really be paying attention to who lives here. Who does live here?

Lives in Template, or lives with me? Right now Haku and Dante are staying with me.

(ooc: I'm sorry! I kind of assumed Trish was gone from Zell's apartment, since it was said she'd stay the duration of the blizzard.)

Dante, huh?

[ooc; Oh god, no! It's completely - I spazzed and I forgot.]

You know him? He makes me look calm, which is kinda stunning.

[ooc: Oh, good. Four people in an apartment meant for two... Um. I'm assuming the "oh god no" means that Trish has found her own place. XD]
