TM Topic 223 - I swear I didn't put those
“I swear I didn’t put those crates there,” exclaimed the random security guard. Machi didn’t know who this security guard is since they all act the same as far as she is concerned. They are just paid to walk around the warehouse and make sure that no one suspicious is around. The only problem is that they are really bad at their jobs. Given that Machi is in the rafters and she is wearing an all-black ninja outfit, they could pretend to be alert. Machi wondered if she dropped down in front of them, would they even do anything.
That thought passed by as quickly as it came. All she had to do now is sneak into the control room, knock out the guy observing the monitors, and finish her mission. She knows the perfect route to do this considering… it is one of her father’s warehouses. If she gets caught doing this, there would be a lot of awkward questions to answer. Luckily, she broke into her father’s warehouse so often on his command that it became second nature.
Machi is effortlessly making her way across the rafters and is standing outside the control room in no time. Machi would assume that the guards learn to lock the door by now. Unfortunately for them, they haven’t learned from past experiences. Machi frowns at that. ‘Even monkeys learn to not do things that hurts them,’ Machi thought. That didn’t stop her from knocking the guard out nor turning off the video monitors.
Machi continued with her mission of “stealing” the newly developed PCR genetic unit that her father’s company had recently developed. From what Machi gathered, her father has insured the device and “stealing” it would return a good amount of money back to him while still having the device itself. It was very underhanded but that is business sometimes.
Machi secured the item in question without seeing anymore guards. This is seriously bothering her. While it made things easier for her, it was still bad that her father is hiring all these incompetent people! Without expression her disapprove, Machi “stole” the equipment. It was the first in a long list of equipment that her father needed to complete his objective… the ones not originally owned by her father.
