Let's talk about sex, baby

Sakubo, Sexuality, and (Gender) IdentityMan, you know, I say 'Sakubo' up there, but it's going to be 90% Saku, I'll say that up front, because a lot of stuff registers to her that doesn't register to Bo, hands down ( Read more... )

Sakkkuuu. ; ;

OKAY SO, HORRIBLE QUESTIONS TIME: If she had that chance to get a sparkly new body courtesy of camp's hacking reality ways that would stick after camp BUT she could never, ever recombine with Bo again, would she do it?

Would she do it if in the process Bo disappeared every time she did it?

--also those are two separate questions, derp. If one happens, the other doesn't.

On the topic of how Endrance is her Mia, what kind of person would her Haseo have to be? Like. What would he have to do for her to fall for him (her? If Saku's bisexual at least), what kind of personality traits would appeal to her, etc. I get the feeling that with Endrance part of it's...her recognizing her brokenness in Endrance? So I'm trying to figure out what would draw her into a healthy (...or at least healthier) relationship eventually. Did this make any sense at all?

Her Haseo would have to be like. Haseo.

O WAIT.

No, actually, Saku's crushing on Haseo MORE THAN A LITTLE but SHE WOULD RATHER DIE THAN ADMIT IT. Following the general theory that Saku acts mad when she's mad and acts more mad when she's happy, you know.

What Haseo did for her that won her over was, basically, recognize HER brokenness but refuse to let her define herself by it. She was trying to use it as a justification that she should destroy herself entirely, and he just didn't play by those rules. Instead, knowing full well what and who she was, he just accepted that and pointed out all the sides of that that were good -- both in the normative sense and in the making herself and others happy sense. He made her feel like she belonged, which is not a feeling she is used to in the slightest and one she craves desperately.
