hey hey hello
I wasn't too thrilled with Constantine, however Tilda Swinton totally rocked! She's got that androgynous way about her, equally great as a male or female. Have you seen Orlando? Also a groovy movie with Tilda
in a male role

(i could go on and on, lol!)

Orlando was the first thing i ever saw her in, and it was love at first site! i need to see it again, actually! been too long!

Okay...I liked Tilda Swinton...but I think Peter Stormare (sp?) made the movie as Lucifer! I couldn't take my eyes off him! Creepy and not quite what you were expecting...they could have gone with Pretty...but they didn't...
(just realized that you meant the other comic book Lucifer...for that...Yes!:)

For some reason the blatant rip off thing seems to be happening much more frequently lately, it seems. I don't know why but it certainly seems like people don't have any personal pride or decency about it anymore. If something's selling at all, you can be sure that within a matter of weeks someone will show up (on ebay, in a neighborhing gallery, down the street) with a blatant rip off of your style and product. It's extremely frustrating and insulting that, as you've noted, a lot of the time the rip offs are done poorly.
I think it's because the people have no real investiture in the product they're producing since it's a rip off.
The one good thing I've noticed about it though, is that the rip offers don't generally stick to ripping off one artist. They move on after awhile and the customers aren't fooled by their shoddy goods for very long either.
But man, it's really, really annoying in any event.

I haven't had the desire to see Constantine because Keanu annoys me also, but the movie looked really cool. I'll take you on your word that Keanu wasn't annoying and rent the dvd.

Rips are fun, since it causes such chaos! Some of the battles get downright Soap Operish. I saw the rip from Tricia and you are 100% correct - YIKES! lol

I don't think I'd worry about it unless they get good enough to take the following away and I don't see that happening in many cases.

One with a good imagination and skill will always be first with new ideas and great art... Rippers are like dogs, they get table scraps, while the true artist eats filet minion.
