has anyone else noticed the uncanny resemblance between celeriac and Cthulhu?

probably depends on the particular vegetable.

we usually don't get to see celeriac in its whole glory, though. so the resemblance may go unnoticed for decades.

right, my post was inspired by a baby celeriac that i used tonight, which, as most new vegetables, had its rootlets and other appendages in place; they were spared the cut. in a few months all available celeriacs will resemble globes more than anything else. (well, rough planetoids at the most, but globes still.)
