A rainy reception

on my way to Basia Es and Hałas's wedding. i still don't have a matching belt to wear, and i don't think i could find a mismatched one in the closet either. this makes a shopping stopover necessary, and i only have two hours with change left. a quick stopover it is. thanks reason i've already got a shirt

i agree about the books, it's such a brilliant idea. couples over here often request toys instead of flowers, not for themselves but for a local orphanage; still, the non-charitable idea with books is more appealing to me. and you're right, it was a great reception indeed; muchos fun and very classy.

as for translators, i shared an apartment with one and i'm friends with several others who happen to work with films quite often, that's their field, and observing them at work is fabulous, it's such a an amazing thing, cracking down on nuance.
