Some pics of my entry for a contest currently running at the Garden of Shadows forum. The idea was to create a very personal room for a young woman or young man. My room is for an aspiring female "Betty" who loves rockabilly & punk music.

I really REALLY like your entry. I think the theme is awesome. I used to hang out with a lot of rockabilly-type kids in high school--though I listened to psychobilly, mainly.

I think you did a great job on the clutter. The phone on the chair, the magazine and cigarettes on the bed, the makeup table... it all looks fantastic and believable. The leopard print kills me.

Thanks so much! I had a blast putting it together. I may even end up using it in the 50s theme neighborhood I'm slowly building. :)

I may try and post pics of another room I started last night but I don't know if I'll have time to finish it before the deadline. I'm on west coast time so midnight is in 7 hours but I don't know what timezone the contest is running on.

I love how chaotic the room looks, yet, there is this constant pattern/them that links them together, making the room chaotic (but not messy chaotic), fun, wild and lovely. This room is perfect. Lovely work.
