Random bits and pieces . . .

I gave my lj a minor makeover since I was bored with the look and dark colors. I also started looking around for other Sim forums that seemed interesting and had a friendly vibe. As much as I enjoy the uploads at Garden of Shadows and the whole alternative feel of the place I was happy to discover that Sim Living Etc.

Living Etc. is so awesome. I was going to post asking if anyone else read it, but I figured that since my f-list is 99% GoSlings that'd be a resounding no. Which shows what I know. The 'finds' articles are my favorite part. :D

I love your entry, it looks gorgeous, especially how the same shades of yellow meander throughout the decor. That blue rangehood is fantastic too.

Sim Living Etc. awesome! I love the whole idea of a magazine devoted to Sims. It would be fun to create a sort of "alternative subculture living" type of magazine that focused on fashion, interior design, photo stories and maybe even music, etc. Sort of like Propaganda or Morbid Outlook for Sims. I've written for both mags so I suppose the idea would only appeal to me but I think it would be fun to do. :)

And I'm glad you like the pics! I love blue & yellow together.

Oh goodness, I didn't think any other GoSlings read Sim Living Etc. Nice knowing I'm not the only one. Gorgeous pictures, too! I love the basket full of sunflowers.

Ha, ha! It's like the GOS members are "coming out of the closet" for Sims Living Etc. :)

It's funny but even though I tend to gravitate towards my darker tastes most of the time, my interests are really diverse and I like all sorts of stuff. My homey kitchen and Asian dinning room didn't seem to mind that I was listening to Nick Cave while I was building them. ;)

Most of my houses tend to be grungy little things, but lately I've been obsessed with color. Everything has to be eyehurtingly bright. I blame dying my hair.
