The Pirate party was a huge success!! Parent's may have been overwhelmed a bit, but the kids loved it!!

I absolutely adore doing things like this. If I had the money, I would throw a party for every holiday. :)

How absolutely exciting!! !It was a lot like how I pictured it!! Wow Amber you went all out but it looks like it was worth it! I've always wanted to do the a big party for the Ogre but I don't know if I would overwhelm him.. and omg on the candles!! hehehehehe I did the same thing.. so I just took one of the big candles with like 5 wicks in it and lit three hehehehehehehehe

They adults may have been overwhelmed a bit. And my house got sosososo hot! It was storming outside for most of the party, and we had planned on being outside also. I had put my thermostat to 60 the day before just to get the house nice and cold and the air conditioner still couldn't keep up. It got very hot in there with all those people. I counted at one time and there was around 50 people in my house.

I loved the sashes! I just got a huge piece of red satin and cut it into long strips. The kids loved them!

The hats were all a little big, so I had to staple some of them to be smaller.

I loved the party! :)
