I am going to my brother's house in North Caroline for Christmas. Just a three day trip (23-25). We are having coffee with another of my lj friends, that I have never met in real life, so we are excited for that!

It is a long drive (8-9) hours, for a short trip, but we don't get along too well, so 3 days is plenty :)

I am looking forward to seeing my nephew. Andrew is very excited to see him too..they are only 10 weeks apart.

Our house was in the same condition Monday. I was finishing up gifts that had to be mailed and created quite a mess. I went to mail them when I got finished and thought I would be back in plenty of time to straighten up before Mike got home. I decided to check out what I thought might be a short cut on the way back but it turned out to be a long and winding road. I eventually ended up turning back and just as I was pulling into the drive way Mike called from the house (he left me his cell phone for some reason that morning) and he told me he thought I must have been kidnapped and put up a struggle because of the mess!
I made a similar but smaller mess today finishing ornaments so I will clean it up before I leave for WalMart. Don't want to worry Mike!
