Summary: What happens when you combine Lorne, Cadman and C4?
Author's Notes: I wrote this for the lovely
gelbes_gilatier aka RowenaR just because she is the most awesomest author ever in the history of the Lorne/Cadman ship. (No she did NOT pay me to say that. Yes she is probably going to hit me when she finds this.) A while ago she challenged me to write a Lorne/Cadman...oh wait if I tell you it'll ruin the story. Uhm, just read it and enjoy. As always feedback is welcome and will earn you a cookie, flames will be used to make s'mores.
The C4 Chronicles
“Okay, that should about do it.” Lorne declared as he set the last charge and signaled his team to take cover.
BOOM!
It exploded in a cascade of sparks. As the dust cleared he moved into the room, surveying the other team.
“About time you boys showed up.” Laura said with a relieved grin as her eyes met his.
****** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ****** ~~~~~~~~~~~ ***************
Evan and Laura were out on the south pier doing training on the most effective ways to blow things up.
“Okay one more charge and we should call it a day.” Evan said as he reached into his pocket, extracting another block of C4.
“Yeah, okay I guess.” Laura said with a soft sigh, as she accepted the block from him. Frowning, she noticed that it felt different from the others. Glancing down, she couldn’t help but notice the plain white wrapping. “Uh, what’s with the paper, Evan?”
Evan shrugged noncommittally as Laura unwrapped the paper, smiling as she read it, the familiar handwriting unmistakable. ‘Wuv twue wuv, will fowwow you fowever. Marry me?’
Laura reread the note twice before looking up at Evan with a grin, “Of course.” she said simply, before pocketing the paper and setting the charge.
“CLEAR!” she yelled as she ducked behind their barrier.
