SPN 2x10 : my opinion on the ep aka pure-fangirl babbling
Finally managed to see it thanks to Devoted.com. Still sitting on my ass in shock.
One of my favorite episodes of season 2 with Croatoan. *Squeal* So glad we finally learnt what said John, I knew it!
I LOVE Ava!!! Really she's the first girl (I mean young cause Ellen's awesome) I'm able to stomach (Cassie and Joe always bored/annoyed me, well, Jessica, I kind of grew into her with time); she's sweet and I can totally see her with Sam. I even joined the new com Ava/Sam, I think those two have a lot of potential. Plotbunnies are knocking at my door.
Hmm, favorite moments, what to say there are so many:
- Again. The revelation about John's last words. Asking Dean to kill Sam if he turned evil is messed up since Sam's the only reason which keeps Dean sane. Dean said the word 'please', several times, he begged Sam. That moment totally melted me.
*hugs Kripke because he so deserves it*
And Sam's anger in front of Dean's lie. Awesome. I thought it was fair, like some sort of payback for the first season when Sam didn't tell Dean about his prophetic dreams.
- Gordon getting his ass kicked. Never gets old. Honestly.
- Dean wanting to waste Gordon after seeing Sammmy's bloody face. He's so hot when he's in protective/vengeful brother mod.
- Knowing the psychic children are the soldiers of the future Good VS Evil war. That's so cool, I'm sure this revelation is going to bring more apocalyptic fics in the fandom. :p
- The end of the episode leading to another whole bunch of questions. Where is Ava? Was she kiddnapped or was she some kind of Undercover Meg and slashed her fiance's throat? What's with the sulfur thing also seen in 2x09? Will Sam see the YED in his dreams too?
