Cause I already started my 'aperitivo time'.
I needed some cheer-up while working like a slave, like I'm doing today. Will be sweating until 9pm. You think I'll be able to make it with some red wine once in a while starting from now?

Just discovered your journal through 'The New Avengers' interest - LOVE your background pics of Gambit & Purdey. *Sigh* Must dig out my New Avenger tapes. I love that scene that you have capped - pics of TNA seem scare on the internet. I adore Joanna Lumley, esp as Purdey :)

I know it's not easy to find caps of The New Avengers on the web. I capped this eppy myself. I love the chemistry of Gambit&Purdey. Aren't they amazing?

Yep, they were a fab & v. under-rated pairing. Pity there isn't much online - do you know of any Gambit/Purdey sites/fanfics etc ? The only site I know of is :- http://www.bromfieldhall.co.uk/tna.htm (which does have some great quotes & a few pics).

The *NEW* Avengers were the first 'Avengers' episodes that I saw & have always remained my favourite Avengers era. I have all the episodes on VHS, but will have to invest in the DVDs at some point !!

Same for me... 'The *New* Avengers' have been the first I watched. And Puredy has been one of my fisrt female heroine... Then I met Emma Peel and since then I haven't seen others better than the two!

I'll be checking the website you mentioned. I'm a loyal visitor of TAF @ www.theavergers.tv...
