I didn't read the whole conversation because I didn't feel like it but...I have a comment.

I guess there's some big controversy with modern day Christians and I guess "orthodox" or whatever, but in the christian religion you aren't supposed to worship false idols, and the sign of the cross is a "false" idol...because it isn't actually christ/god..whatever you believe.

I don't know where I'm going with that.
