Being tickled by rottgrub last night. I giggled like a little kid for a good while. It was a very happy moment. :)

Sarah had a bad day yesterday. I sent her an email reminding her to pick up cat food, but did so in a humorous fashion which apparently made her laugh out loud at work.

My Aikido sensei telling me I was Shodan already. My current path of study will allow me to claim it. Good to hear, though no promotion date yet. ;)

Last night, sitting around a cafe table long after the cafe closed, in funeral black and glimmering gold; we toasted our fallen friend Sarah Stein and debated the merits and possibilities of reviving a theoretical ancient matriarchy. Champagne flowed, cheese and sausage and bread were sliced and served, and all the conversations of the world floated past on ethereal bubbles in all the languages of men as sleep bore me to my pleasant dreams.

Happy? I was born happy, and happy I remain.

I don't know if this is happiness, but is certainly gleeful giddy satisfaction.

I wrote a story, and submitted it to this fanzine. Well, the fanzine accepted the story. Then, I heard that a rather popular artist within the subculture was doing the illustrations for my story - including the cover art. Just today, I saw the cover art picture, and I am still ecstatic.
