I find the challenge is actually learning from your mistakes. There are times I've made a mistake, that I didn't learn from it immediately. Sometimes it was because the resolution of the mistake was taken out of my hands completely because I wasnt' told there was a mistake until after it had been resolved for a month.

Then the only thing I could do was review the mistake and the resolution. It still helped, but it's tough to learn from one's mistakes.

Other than that I wanted to agree with your statement. The fear of failure never leaves and you DO have to learn how to accept it or move past it. I'm still trying to deal with the fear of failure myself. But, I'm glad someone has managed to tackle the evil beast with success. :)

I think you're right, and it's good to know someone else feels the same way. I've written a lot of crap, and the only way I could get myself to do it is to accept that my writing was going to be crappy... you know, at least at first.
A burden shared, man. Thanks for the post.
