Yesterday I went to Toronto Pagan Pride. There was a decent turnout despite a few minor showers. I was able to catch up with some old fiends (some of whom I expected, and some of whom I was surprised to see) and meet some new ones as well. I used to sign my letters, in my early college years/heavily-shallow-pagan days, "Your fiend" and "Deer friend" (and then put antlers on my initials).
Anyway, it sounds like it was great, I'm glad it was successful and fun for you, and I'd love to hear/read your paper, if you have a sendable copy!

I'm looking forward to hosting September's BB Pub Moot!
It's not a roll I'd want on an ongoing basis, but I glad to pitch in when I can.
We should touch base privately, as I'll need a bunch of pointer and advice - not with the working the room part, but with the stand up routine at the front. :)
And more time to chat is a great idea anyway. :)

... of course my 'freedom' will consist of 50-some hours a week on site at the hospital (sans paycheck)...
... And after 17 years at the bank my excitement is more than a bit tinted by angst.
