I'm really sorry about the peeing, that such an awful issue to deal with. I'd take her to the vet and talk to them. it sounds like she is going senile.

Older cats often have kidney issues as well, which can cause several things, including confusion because toxins normally filtered out by the kidneys build-up, and the pee-ing thing could be that she drinks a lot therefore being old can't make it in time to the litterbox, or is too sore, tired to get there. Often cats retreat to a bathroom to do this because it is a water source and they can smell OUR pee. (even if we are the cleanest of clean ( ... )

We struggled immensely with our cat Buffy about this. She was senile - in every way. She was terrified of me, she no longer used the litter box on a regular basis, she had thyroid problems, she was going blind, and she had kidney and liver failure. But, she ate and drank fine. She seemed to have a poor quality of life - she seemed miserable. We took her to the vet several times over a year and spent a lot of money on tests and IV fluids - and they just kept saying she was ok. We asked them if it was her "time" and the vet responded "If it's more convenient for you to put her down, then yes." It wasn't about convenience - it was about cruelty. I am terrified of having to make that decision again because of what they put us through with guilt. We finally put her down when her back legs stopped working. It was the worst.

i figured if this silly cat wants so badly to "use" my bathroom and pee in that one spot then i'll get her a box and put it in that spot. and goddanmit it worked. she uses the box just to pee. i put crystal litter in it because it's less messy, absorbs pee better and i know at least one of my other cats won't use it. it's weird she is the only one who uses it.
i know i'll have an awful time if i have to decide to put any of my pets down. i want them all to die in their sleep before they become a pain to me or are in pain themselves. is that too much to ask?
