OMG THAT SUCKS sojirofreak November 19 2007, 05:35:25 UTC
these people are freakin jerks! what, their service is so crappy that they can't get any business unless they friggin BULLY people into it!?!? or install it ILLEGALLY and bill you later? that's awful!!! I've never heard of such horrible business practices in my life, EVER. I can't believe that people would ACTUALLY behave this way to get customers! If I ever do live in Lexington, (even though I probably won't) I'll be sure NOT to have Insight.

Like I said, it's completely ridiculous. It's *possible* that no higher-ups are involved in this, and it's just some weird servicemen doing it. (I don't believe it, but it's *possible*, so I'll cover my ass.) And if I find out that Insight had nothing to do with our satellite disconnection this time, then I'll make a post saying so. But that will not change the fact that two different employees of Insight HAVE in the past, for a fact, tried to interfere with our Windstream service, and I'll tell this to anyone who will listen. Insight is by far the most commonly used provider in the area, there's no need to go to extreme lengths of questionable legality for customers. They should let our ONE APARTMENT be. Seriously.

:/

Not all Insight workers are like that. I think you must have just gotten a bad egg. If you want though, I'll have Will look into it and see what he can find out. But so far as I know, Will's never heard of anything like this at Insight.

I will admit, I don't like the way they over-work their employees... but I've never heard anything bad about them other than that. *kicks the higher ups for all the overtime they force on Will*

I would also say, remember, don't trust the satellite on everything they say concerning an opposing force. :\

I never said that all were like that (I said "at least some" and that I know that two have), I've met good people work for them, but that doesn't mean that there's no one crooked in our region of sales. I just have to watch all of them that come here because I was not here to see the one that talked to J.D. and then went out back and disconnected us, so I wouldn't recognize him. (J.D. saw that happen, so we know that Windstream wasn't lying about that one.) I trust that all the people I've talked directly to and J.D. has talked directly to at Insight have been trying to find out what's going on, but the people they've tried to reach for us have not been getting back to them. J.D. went to Insight itself today and they have on file all our complaints and the emails and records of calls the people we spoke to made to their superiors, but there's been a complete lack of action from the higher-ups thus far. And this time, some sort of foul play was definitely involved from somewhere because it turned out all of our lines were actually ( ... )

And when I was talking about how I won't give Insight my money, that's not to spite everyone who works for them (it's not like they're not gonna get paid anyway, Insight is still the majority around here), it's because if the higher-ups who refuse to even talk to me have anything to do with this, I don't want to know that even a fraction of my payments are going to them. I'm stubborn as fuck that way. :)
