We lost. We were so ready to win and we lost again because of a shitty umpire. Yesterday was our first playoff game againt Lake Washington and we beat them 5-1. I wasn't able to play because I injured my thumb and couldn't grip a bat but it was really fun to watch the team have a really great game. We now face Juanita in tomorrow's game and I am so pumped! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENZIE!!!

Today felt so good! I got actually made some good contact with the ball and it felt amazing! Hopefully this will carry on to the next few games so that by playoffs I'll be back to my old swing!

I miss the feeling of actually doing something in a game. I miss the feeling of the ball connecting to the bat in just the right way and knowing right away that it was a good hit no matter where it went. I miss people saying 'nice hit' instead of 'nice try'. I miss knowing my swing.
