A gardeny kind of day

 It didn't start out that way--it was supposed to be a projecty kind of day, but I decided to run an errand to the drug store that turned into running by Sears because it was close to see if they have the weed whacker I want (they didn't) which turned into running to the fireplace store because they were just a few more exits down the freeway (

How funny, we need a week wacker, not sure which one to get, we just potted up two hanging flower baskets, and we have the California golden poppies poppin up in our front yard, we also have the "blond" variety which I haven't seen before!
All kinds of things are bloomin in the front area that the previous owners planted just for bees, butterflies, and birdies, and we have lots of honeybees everywhere which is a very good thing!
I would love to plant some Thai basil, and dill for the bunnies :-)
