The insolent jerkitude of the SeattleLJ community ceased being cute by about the third day of being in it. Yet, I still felt that the occasional, random, and actually useful bits of trivia outweighed its negative aspects. And despite my general policy of ignoring all comments on the Internet, I still couldn't help reading some of the follow-ups

That is how I feel about most online librarians groups. Griping about patrons? No thanks!

Yeah, there should be a way to filter for actually useful posts in that community. If we wanted to listen to a bunch of angry people be mean to each other, we could just go anywhere else on the internet!
